Objective and themes of the conference
The main objective of the conference is to analyze the challenges that in the context of global change encountered in the integrated assessment and management of water resources in large river basins. By bringing together scientists and managers from North and South, it is expected that international research efforts concerning water related issues will be translated into more practical methods and coherent approaches.
At the conference, the following themes will be addressed explicitly:
-Water science and policy interactions
-Summery of international water programmes
-Stakeholders perspectives
-Water resources data
-Scaling
-Integration
Admission fee for students will be €20 per day, which includes the lunch at the conference, coffee breaks, the conference programme and a guest ticket for public transportation in Bonn. The full conference proceedings are not included. Vouchers for the conference dinner on Thursday, February 24th may be purchased at the conference.
