NutriHAF: Workshop with partners from Ethiopia and Madagascar

At the end of September, a group of researchers from Ethiopia and Madagascar, who are part of ZEF's project <link http: www.zef.de external-link-new-window external link in new>NutriHAF, visited Austria and Germany. Starting point of the eight-day-long retreat was the Tropentag Conference in Vienna, where team members presented some of their research outcomes. This was followed by a workshop on participatory and gender-sensitive research at ZEF and excursions to an organic fruit farm and a community garden in Bonn, where team members learned about agricultural production, processing and marketing strategies in Germany.
