Political agreement between African and German WASCAL partners signed in Lomé

The West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) project partners from 10 West African states and Germany have moved a crucial step forwards by signing a political agreement in Lomé, Togo, on February 12.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking West African ministers, government representatives, the BMBF state secretary Georg Schütte as well as by ZEF-Director Paul Vlek
