EU: Environment and forests in developing countries
The Call for Proposals 2005 for environment and forests has been published on 4 August 2005 with a deadline for submission of proposals on 8 November 2005 at 16.00h. All related documents (guidelines, application form, etc.) can be downloaded from the relevant website (tick box select "Open-Grants-All-All" and submit query) at: europa.eu.int/comm/europeaid/cgi/frame12.pl
The Call for Proposals 2005 can be found on the EU web pages: “Environment and Forests in developing countries, at europa.eu.int/comm/europeaid/projects/forests/index_en.htm. These web pages discuss co-operation between the European Union and the developing countries in the field of environment and forests.
The environment programme aims at supporting these countries in their efforts to integrate the environmental dimension into their development process. The objective of the forest programme is to support the conservation and sustainable management of tropical forests and other forests in these countries.
More information on these programmes, the procedures concerning their yearly implementation, related documents and projects financed by the EC can be found on the pages of this website.
