this is a "special edition" of the gtz-ecosan-newsletter, in which we would like to give you a short-term information on vacancies at the EcoSanRes Programme (Deadline for application is 22nd May 2006!) and in various GTZ projects.

Vacancies at the EcoSanRes Programme [Deadline for application is 22nd May 2006]

The Sida-sponsored EcoSanRes Programme managed by Stockholm Environment
Institute (SEI) calls for applications for the following positions:
1. Financial Controller and Administrator (1.0 P/Y)
2. Communications Manager (0.5 P/Y)
3. Networking Manager (0.5 P/Y)
4. Communications Assistant (1.0 P/Y)
5. Capacity Building Manager (0.5 P/Y)
6. Node Development Manager (0.5 P/Y)
7. Knowledge Development Team (4 x 0.5 P/Y)
Candidates are encouraged to apply for a full-time position occupying two of the half-time posts. All the positions require placement at SEI in Stockholm and the chosen candidates would become contracted employees of
SEI. Applications should be sent to Teresa Ogenstad ecosan@sei.se by May 22, 2006. The longevity of the EcoSanRes Programme is at present from 2006 to the end of 2010.

The programme supports the Burkina Faso Ministry for Agriculture and Water Resources in planning and implementing water and sanitation projects, mainly in small and medium towns.

The GTZ projects "OMS - Betriebs- und Managementberatung der Wasserver- und -entsorgung" and "TMW - Trainingsmanagement im Wassersektor", support the Jordan Ministry for Water and Irrigation in a sector reform towards a Integrated water resources management, increased efficiency in water supply and waste water management systems, and cooperation with the private sector. Your tasks include the support of the programme manager in conceptual and organisational matters, e.g. in restructuring processes and training management in the water sector, and in the development of cooperation's with the private sector.
