EcoMod2008 Conference, Berlin, Germany, July 2-4, 2008: Last Call

We are pleased to announce that the next International Conference on Policy Modeling (EcoMod2008) will take place in Berlin, Germany, on July 2-4, 2008. The conference is jointly organized by the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) and the Global Economic Modeling Network (EcoMod).
The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision making in the public and private sector. It will cover all areas of applied modeling in economics and finance.

Deadline for submission of papers or extended abstracts: January 31, 2008
Deadline for the full version of the accepted papers: May 1, 2008
You are cordially invited to submit your extended abstracts or full papers (preferred) on the conference management Web site: www.ecomod.org
Your extended abstract should have the following content:
(1) Rationale and objectives
(2) Modeling approach, methodology
(3) Studied country/region/city (if applicable)
(4) Expected results and discussion
