Local governance and fragile statehood in the Amu Darya Region.
The project on local governance is going to start in April 2005 and deals with issues of security, jurisdiction, state administration and management of natural resources in the Region of the Amu Darya River, which is a transboundary river between Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
