ZEF doctoral students visit Campus Klein-Altendorf

Sixteen doctoral students enjoyed a tour guided by Dr. Marcel Moll (INRES Renewable Resources) across the different areas of the University of Bonn  - Campus Klein-Altendorf where they gained insights into current agricultural research.

With 180 hectares, Campus Klein-Altendorf is one of three agricultural research stations at the University of Bonn. The students learned about plants growing without soil, fast-growing trees which can be harvested within 15 years, and took a look at robots, which can identify weeds and spray them specifically.

Excursions like this are part of ZEF's doctoral education program BIGS-DR.
