Another successful ZEF graduate: Oyewole Oginni

Congratulations to Oyewole Simon Oginni who successfully defended his doctoral thesis on "Civilian loyalty and agency in insecure spaces. A study of armed conflicts in the Lake Chad Basin region” on December 15, 2023.
He received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Bonn.
His first supervisor was Prof. Dr Jörg Blasius (Institute for Political Science and Sociology at the University of Bonn) and his second supervisor was PD Dr. Eva Youkhana.
Oyewole's research was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
